Harassment: What's the Big Deal?
Harassment: What's the Big Deal?
This curriculum has been created for Middle School and High School
Eight out of ten students will experience some form of harassment during their time in school. When a student is facing situations of harassment, bullying, or inappropriate treatment from others their social emotional health can suffer greatly. Prolonged exposure can impact sleeping, appetite, school performance, and self-esteem.
Now more than ever we recognize the need for comprehensive education on harassment within schools. If a student is given the opportunity to learn this information it could just save their emotional life or even their life.
With the "Harassment: What's the BIG Deal?" curriculum there are five main focus points we focus on:
- What empathy looks like in action
- Definition and examples of harassment in school including physical, verbal, and digital
- Discussion on why this education matters
- Raising awareness of the invisible battles every person faces
- How to safely intervene as a bystander

Resilience Education
The Road to Resilience©
Based on Victor Pacini's book, Winning Within, this program provides insightful suggestions that students can use as tools to help them realize that despite the difficulty of any obstacle, goals can be reached successfully. Not only is Victor a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, he lost his sister in 2001 because of domestic violence. Instead of staying in a state of anger and sadness, he channeled his emotions and created a foundation for victims of domestic violence.
He will demonstrate that through the power of choice, students can take responsibility and turn any adversity into a powerful lesson to move forward in life. Victor will drive home the truth that it is the responsibility of each individual to create the life they want.
This program can be delivered in person or online. Recommended for Health Classes. Designed for Middle School and High School.
“Victor hit a home run – message sent loud and clear! Use of music and student involvement was awesome! He was great to work with!” Jim Rodriguez, Activities Coordinator, Argo High School
“You were so inspiring! I wanted to get up and dance. This was an incredible assembly; it totally engaged every student and teacher. I didn’t want it to stop.” Marilyn Thompson, Maine South High School

What is 212 Victory Lane?
Victory Lane - The place where the winner of a motor race goes to celebrate victory after an event.
212˚ - Water is hot at 211˚ but boils at 212˚. It's also a book written by Mac Anderson. Boiling water turns to steam and steam is what's needed to power a locomotive. One extra degree...makes all the difference.
The goal of 212 Victory Lane is simple: To help students recognize their value and celebrate their daily victories.
There's a saying, "Little hinges swing BIG doors." When you take that extra effort in a child's life, the positive impact can be exponential.
212 Victory Lane is the home of the Voice Box Project© and other educational products. It's a place to celebrate life's victories!
Every school that uses our curriculum is entitled to one Voice Box© per year. A school can nominate a student in need of some encouragement. Ask us about the details!
